Our Rig
We are privileged to be able to fish on this amazing machine. Made in Oregon, Hewescraft has been making high quality aluminum boats for ages! This is our 2021 Hewescraft 270 Pacific Explorer.
No we don’t charter, we’re just a big group of guys that love the great sport of fishing. However, we are starting to get involved in walleye tournaments on Lake Erie which is our main home. You can also find us on YouTube where we post instructional videos on trolling tips and boating.
Multi-species anglers
In the early spring, when the snow melts off and the lakes are clear of ice. We start the year out on Lake Ontario fishing for one of freshwater’s most fun and especially tasty fish, King Salmon. From Olcott Harbor, New York to the Niagara Barge we troll the deep waters and fight the cold water species to the boat!
From mid-May to November we call Lake Erie our home launching from Walnut Creek or North East. Lake Erie is home to so many great fish. Summer time is hot and heavy walleye season. Our average summer consists of catching around 350-400 walleye, as the lake starts to cool down you may find us pulling in lake trout or steel head.

If you thought that we just fished the great lakes, you were way wrong. We fish along the Atlantic Coast as well! January to March you will find us in the Florida Keys targeting the mighty swordfish as well as high flying tarpon and more. In August - October, you might see us visiting the New England states, from Gloucester to Bar Harbor.
